Duties & Responsibilities
- To develop lesson plans and prepare each lesson for the range of students in the class.
- Ability to differentiate appropriately and use a variety of strategies which enable students to be taught effectively.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe environment for all learners.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the school community including colleagues and parents.
- Experience of using ICT to support and enhance teaching and learning.
- Make use of formative and summative assessments to secure students’ progress.
- Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons.
- Provide regular student feedback, both orally and through accurate marking, and encourage students to respond to the feedback.
- Maintain good relationships with students, exercising appropriate authority, and acting decisively when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents with regard to students’ achievements and well-being.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Art in teaching or relevant field.
- Thai Teaching Licence.
- Secure knowledge of the IGCSE Thai First Language curriculum or relevant experiences.
- Experience of teaching in an international school is preferable.
- Ability to teach Thai culture to both native and non-Thai students.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in both Thai and English
- Teaching Thai as foreign language is an advantage
