One year contract initially (maternity cover). There may be opportunities to extend after the end of the first year.

We are seeking, for August 2026, a Secondary Art Teacher to join our successful Creative Arts Department at our Windsor Park campus, who wishes to be part of a professionally dynamic, supportive and forward thinking learning community. We’re looking for a teacher who genuinely enjoys working with others — someone flexible, good humoured, but with high expectations and professional pride to match.

The Art Department achieves outstanding results, offering IGCSE in Art and A-Levels in Art and Digital Media and a number of our students are very talented artists who go on to study at the world’s top universities. Experience of teaching at least some of these courses is a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • A qualified teacher (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent), with at least two years of experience teaching in a UK or British international school setting.
  • Confident in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigour, and adaptability.
  • Skilled at using technology to enhance teaching and learning, not replace it.
  • Able to motivate children through relationships built on trust, respect, and warmth.
  • A reflective practitioner who’s comfortable experimenting, learning, and adapting — someone who doesn’t jump at every new trend, but knows how to integrate meaningful innovations over time.
  • A true team player who brings positivity, flexibility, and balance to school life.

Above all, we want teachers who put people at the centre of all they do and who understand that learning is about the journey, not just the results.
