Science Teacher in our secondary school (Windsor Park campus) for August 2026
This is for an initial one-year maternity contract, renewable by mutual consent

The Science Faculty consistently achieves excellent results in the separate sciences at both IGCSE and A Level and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue to help shape and develop the curriculum within the faculty, as well as being part of a dynamic team of science teachers delivering outstanding learning and teaching. We are happy to consider applicants from any science specialism, but an ability to teach across all areas of the science curriculum at key stage three before specialising in key stages four and five is important.

This position would be a one year maternity contract in the first instance but may be extended by mutual agreement.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • A qualified teacher (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent), with at least two years of experience teaching in a UK or British international school setting.
  • Confident in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigour, and adaptability.
  • Skilled at using technology to enhance teaching and learning, not replace it.
  • Able to motivate children through relationships built on trust, respect, and warmth.
  • A reflective practitioner who’s comfortable experimenting, learning, and adapting — someone who doesn’t jump at every new trend, but knows how to integrate meaningful innovations over time.
  • A true team player who brings positivity, flexibility, and balance to school life.
