Job Summary

IT Manager

Salary

฿20,000 – ฿25,000 per month

Times of Duty

  • Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30pm.
  • Occasional weekend/holiday work required.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior IT Support Officer will be responsible for:

  1. Providing first-line technical support to staff and students for hardware, software, printing, classroom technology, and network-related issues.
  2. Supporting and maintaining the school’s IT equipment, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, projectors, interactive displays, tablets, and other classroom technologies.
  3. Assisting with the day-to-day operation of school IT systems to ensure reliable and efficient use across academic and administrative departments.
  4. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues to help maintain stable network access across the campus.
  5. Assisting with Mobile Device Management, including device enrolment, deployment, configuration, updates, and basic maintenance of staff and student devices.
  6. Providing technical support for school events, meetings, examinations, presentations, and other activities as required.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, repairs, equipment loans, inventory, and related documentation.
  8. Supporting compliance with school IT security, safeguarding, data protection, and acceptable-use policies.
  9. Assisting with IT upgrades, system improvements, infrastructure projects, backups, and other technology-related tasks assigned by the IT Manager.
  10. Supporting audiovisual equipment and learning technologies used in classrooms, meeting rooms, halls, and shared learning spaces.
  11. Working collaboratively with academic and administrative staff to support the effective use of educational technology.
  12. Escalating complex technical issues to the IT Manager or relevant external support providers when required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk services, system administration, school IT support, or network support is an advantage.
  3. Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  4. Basic understanding of iPads, Android devices, Mobile Device Management systems, networking, printing, and cloud platforms.
  5. Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  7. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  8. A patient, flexible, and service-minded approach when supporting staff and students.
  9. The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment.
  10. A good command of spoken and written English is preferred.
