Application Closing Date

We are seeking, for August 2026, a Head of Boarding to join our successful leadership team at our Windsor Park campus, who wishes to be part of a professionally dynamic, supportive and forward thinking learning community. Two year contract, renewable by mutual consent.

We’re looking for a senior leader who genuinely enjoys working with a committed team to develop and lead our boarding provision. We are looking for someone flexible, good humoured, but with high expectations and professional pride to match.

Our boarding provision is very strong and we pride ourselves on the care and support afforded to our students. The successful candidate would lead a team of boarding staff including the House master and House mistress of our two boarding houses, their deputies, assistants and support staff.  Acting as a role model for all of our boarding students while providing them with the support and care they need is a key element of the role. We currently have 130 boarders split evenly between our girls and boys boarding houses, ranging from 8-18 years of age. The position is a residential post and includes accommodation. The expectation is that the successful postholder would live on site for part of or all of the week.  This position sits on our whole school leadership team. You can find more out about the post by downloading the job description included with this post.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • A qualified teacher (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent), with at least eight years of experience teaching in a UK or British international school setting, with a considerable level of experience working in boarding.
  • Confident in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigour, and adaptability.
  • Skilled at using technology to enhance teaching and learning, not replace it.
  • Able to motivate children through relationships built on trust, respect, and warmth.
  • A reflective practitioner who’s comfortable experimenting, learning, and adapting — someone who doesn’t jump at every new trend, but knows how to integrate meaningful innovations over time.
  • A true team player who brings positivity, flexibility, and balance to school life.

Above all, we want a leader who puts people at the centre of all they do and who understand that learning is about the journey, not just the results.
