Secondary Chinese Culture Day Trip
Secondary students explored Chinese culture through calligraphy, guzheng, painting, and Tai Chi, before enjoying a traditional Chinese meal. A meaningful experience that brought classroom learning to life.
FOBISIA U11 Games
A fantastic week at the U11 FOBISIA Games for our Year 5 and Year 6 students.
They brought home four championship trophies in Athletics, Girls Football, T-Ball A Team and T-Ball B Team, along with 52 individual medals and many personal bests.
The PE team were incredibly proud. The hard work paid off, and the squad held their nerve when it mattered most.
Songkran 2026
What a lovely way to celebrate Songkran together. Our students enjoyed a joyful day, from the creativity of the sandcastle competition to the meaningful Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony.
The water fights were a highlight for many, filled with laughter, excitement and plenty of splashing. It was a special day that brought together fun, culture and a strong sense of community. Wishing all our families a happy and relaxing holiday.
Bromsgrove Youth Music Theatre Original Production
Bromsgrove Thailand Youth Musical Theatre original production, presented by YMT at the Siam Performing Arts Centre.
“Video Killed the Radio Star” took our students on a journey through time, music, and friendship, brought to life by their talent, supported by dedicated staff, and celebrated by the Bromsgrove community.
FOBISIA U13 Games
A three day action packed U13 FOBISIA Games at Patana Sports Resort saw students compete across athletics, swimming, football, and basketball, showing great teamwork, resilience, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. Highlights included the girls securing podium places in every athletics field event and the boys finishing third in football, alongside excellent independence and sportsmanship throughout the trip.
Primary Showcase 2026
Year 6 explored the theme of man vs nature through an engaging mock trial. “Tremor Tim” stood accused, but the defence successfully argued that responsibility was shared with other forces, including microplastics, deforestation, and extreme weather.
The pupils demonstrated strong teamwork, persuasive speaking, and thoughtful reasoning throughout. A fantastic effort from all involved.

It was fantastic to welcome our Year 10 and Year 11 students, along with so many parents, to the Sixth Form Options Fair on Tuesday 10 February.
The event gave families a great insight into life in the sixth form at BIST and a clear overview of the options process. With new subjects and enrichment opportunities launching for the 2026 to 2027 academic year, it is an exciting time to be joining our sixth form community.
