Sustainability Week at #BromsgroveEY has been a wonderful opportunity for our youngest learners to explore the importance of caring for the world around them through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Throughout the week, children took part in a variety of engaging activities designed to encourage environmental awareness, responsibility, and creativity, helping them to better understand how small actions can make a positive difference to our planet.
Today, we were delighted to welcome parents into the classrooms for our Stay and Learn sessions, where families joined the children in interactive sustainability-themed activities. It was a fantastic opportunity for parents to experience first-hand the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the children as they explored topics connected to nature, recycling, gardening, and caring for the environment.
We were also pleased to welcome our PTA Committee for the official opening of the EY Garden, which was kindly sponsored by the PTA. The garden will provide a valuable outdoor learning space where children can continue to develop a connection with nature through exploration, planting, and hands-on learning experiences.
A heartfelt thank you to our parents and PTA for their continued support in helping us create meaningful learning opportunities for our children and fostering a shared commitment to sustainability within our school community.
