Records are made to be broken, and the Secondary Sports Day 2020 didn’t disappoint!
Students were greeted in the morning by their first competitive event – a house warm up judged by the teachers. From there students split into the traditional track and field events which ran alongside the inclusive ‘challenges’. These challenges included activities such as a football shootout, a frisbee coconut shy, a golf putt and even a space hopper race! The final event, a house tug-of-war competition completed the day.
The final standings ended with Edwards winning, only a matter of 20 points behind Walters in second.
The athletics events saw a total of 29 records broken, some of which will stand for a long time!
Well done to all our students for their team work, and positivity.
