The Primary School Swimming Gala were a fantastic celebration of effort, determination, and sportsmanship, with students demonstrating confidence and resilience in the pool.
Years 2 and 3 competed in a range of 12m individual events and relays, while Years 4–6 took on 25m and 50m races in an exciting programme of competition. Throughout both galas, swimmers gave their best performances, cheered on by their peers and staff, creating a wonderful atmosphere of encouragement and house spirit.
With every swimmer officially timed this year, many students achieved personal bests, reflecting the progress they have made through their training and swimming lessons. After two memorable galas, Walters House emerged as the overall champions in both age groups, a testament to the collective effort and enthusiasm of their team.
Congratulations to all swimmers for their commitment and achievements, and a special thank you to our Year 10 students, whose support as race timers helped ensure the events ran smoothly.
