The competition was very tough and the winning times very fast.  We are very proud of all our swimmer who attended – our youngest swimmers being just 7 years old!  We were delighted with 27 new personal bests (PB’s), 20 medals and a finishing in 4th place.  A big thank you to all the families that came to support us.

Year 2 students are excited and curious to learn how to build Thai words by combining Thai consonants with Thai vowels. They are making short sentences and stories from flashcards. The more they experience how to blend Thai letters with Thai vowels, the more they learn. Super job Year 2!

On 1 – 5 May Bromsgrove (BIST) Primary FOBISIA team competed in the Primary Games in Phuket. There were 3 days of intense sporting competition in the disciplines of swimming, athletics, tee-ball and football. Our team had to compete in all 4 events, which was at times grueling but fulfilling for our young sports men and women.

We had huge success thanks to the hard work, training, determination and resilience of our students, and the unfailing support and coaching of our 5 coaches. The team of 28 children took home over 150 medals in swimming and athletics, and they placed Bronze in both Tee-Ball A and Tee-Ball B tournaments, as well as the Girls A team taking Silver in Football and Girls B taking Bronze.

BIST Primary continues to go from strength to strength in sport and we can’t wait for the next games in a year’s time. We are all incredibly proud of our teams, our coaches and our parents who have supported their children and the school. Thank you!
