Year 6 have been busy getting a ‘taste’ for their Term 1 topic: Mexico. They worked together to follow recipes to make guacamole and salsa, showing great teamwork skills and determination. After this, everyone showed they were risk-takers by trying the delicious dishes and describing the flavours!

Congratulations to Pra-chan, Year 6, a member of the cheerleading team who received silver medals in the Charm Cheerleading Championships 2019 (Level 2 – Team Cheer Pee Wee Intermediate Category) which took place in Malaysia during 27-28 July 2019.

We had an exciting start to the term on Monday. Students were faced with 8 challenges to complete in the morning. Each challenge that they completed earnt them a clue for the final house activity of the day. It was fantastic to see mixed year group teams working together with such determination. Our Sixth Form students lead the teams with maturity and enthusiasm and really helped to ensure that the day was a great success.

We would like to congratulate the Bromsgrove International School Thailand (BIST) Class of 2019 for their university destinations. We wish them all the best in the future.

Congratulations to our Year 8 students Pat and Poom who both attended the TKG Tour 2019 -2020 at Watermill Golf and Resort on 17-18 August 2019. Well done! Pat was the winner in the CJ Class, and Poom was placed 2nd. Well done!

On 17 August, Pro in Year 6 won first place at the Thailand Kids Golf Tour 2019 – 2020, in the boys 10 years old class at Water Mill Golf and Resort. Congratulations!

On Thursday 23rd May Year 2 and 3 performed their show Hats Off to the other children in Primary, as well as their parents and family members. Hats Off is a story about a pony who finds a beautiful hat in her paddock. With a little help from her farmyard friends we discover whether she should wear it in Summer, Autumn, Winter or Spring. The children had been practising hard for weeks, learning their lines, remembering words to songs and perfecting their dances.
The children put on an amazing show full of enthusiasm and showed off just how confident they have become as performers. They said their lines clearly, with expression, and remembered their actions and acting completely independently. They sang so loudly they filled the auditorium and danced so well they made everyone smile. Their determination and hard work certainly paid off and the children should be extremely proud of themselves for putting on such an entertaining show. Thank you Year 2 and 3!

This year we celebrated our Annual Prom night at The So Sofitel in Lumphnini on Saturday 15th June 2019. The theme was ‘Starry Night’ and, as ever, the students exceeded all expectations and looked extremely glamorous and sophisticated with Best and Joon Ho in Year 13 being announced Prom Queen and Prom King, Gaia and Rapee in Year 12 being awarded the Prom Princess and Prince and Jeana and Kong in Year 11 being awarded the Duchess and Duke roles. The evening was rounded off with a live DJ set from our very own resident DJ Dunk and the students danced the night away!
