Meet Our Music Teachers
Mr Jeremy Meddows Taylor

Mr Meddows-Taylor has been at Bromsgrove since 2015, having previously taught at an independent specialist music school in the UK. He is also Co-Chair of the FOBISIA Music Executive Committee and Chair of the TISAC Music Committee. An experienced conductor, percussionist, trombonist and pianist, he has worked with a number of bands, orchestras, and choirs over his career. Mr Meddows-Taylor graduated from Cardiff University, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Throughout this time, he was also a percussionist with the world-famous Cory Band, performing across Europe in many of the world’s finest concert venues.
Ms Rachel Argo

Ms Argo graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. After moving to England to pursue her career goal to become a teacher, she worked within the state and independent education sector, gaining her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Buckingham. Ms Argo is a talented instrumentalist, playing the cello, piano and guitar, gaining her ABRSM Diploma in Music Performance on cello. She also has a range of experience in singing, songwriting and conducting choirs, which has been a strong focus of her teaching to date. As well as teaching music across Primary and Secondary, Ms Argo teaches cello and guitar for the Music Academy.
Ms Alice Law

Ms Alice is an experienced pianist, singer and harpist. While completing high school in Hong Kong, she gained a piano performance diploma from the Trinity College of London at the age of 16. Ms Alice then moved to Thailand to study a Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science at the Assumption University. She was the piano accompanist and trainer for the Assumption University Choir and has participated in various concerts, operas and vocal events. She became the Assistant Choir Director and piano coach at International School Bangkok and was the guest pianist for the Bangkok International Choir Festival in 2004. Currently, Ms Alice is the Head of Communications, Choir Director, and singing teacher at Bromsgrove.
Mr Kris Krisanalome

Mr Kris graduated from Brigham Young University, Hawaii, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Performance (drum kit and percussion). At university, he performed with a range of settings, including salsa orchestra, jazz orchestra, steel band, musical theatre, and New Orleans street band. He was a student of Dr. Darren Duerden; the President of the Percussive Arts Society in the State of Hawaii, and also worked with Dr. Daniel Henderson; a former Professor of Harvard University in songwriting and jazz composition. Mr Kris is an experienced teacher, studio musician and performer, having taught drum kit, percussion, ukulele and guitar to students of all ages and levels.
Mr Tanakrit Tongnopnua

Mr Tanakrit graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies, majoring in piano performance and holding Grade 8 Piano Performance from Trinity College, London. He is an experienced educator, having taught piano lessons in New York and New Jersey and leading jazz ensemble and piano workshops at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University and Silpakorn University. After graduating, he moved to New York City to work with Outside in Music and The Jazz Gallery. Tanakrit is now teaching and performing in Bangkok and running “Tanakrit Talks Jazz”, in which he writes, produces, and curates jazz-related content.
