At Bromsgrove, golf has always been a sport in which we excel as a school and over the past 10 years we have attracted some of the very best national youth players to our golf scholarship programme. From August 2020, our golf programme will benefit from our own British PGA coach working with our golf scholars as part of the school’s sports enrichment programme. This addition to our internal coaching team will further enhance the level of coaching support for our golf scholars.
Our Golf Scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate a good record of performance in national, regional and/or international golf competitions. To apply for the scholarship, candidates are required to submit the application form and their profile/portfolio (latest scorecards/ handicap cards and certificates of achievements) by 6 February 2026. Our golf coach will review the applications and selected candidates will be invited to sit the admission testing at the school.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an 18-hole on course evaluation within the first week of March 2026. The scholarship awards will be announced to the successful candidates on 16 March 2026.
Golf Scholars are awarded a discount up to 75% off tuition fees only.
Our scholarships cover a percentage of the tuition fee only and it does not cover the cost of meals, boarding fee, uniform, transport, books, materials, instrumental teaching, activities or trips.
