I would like to share with you all two special events which have taken place since the last updates. Firstly, it was a pleasure and an honour to hand over to our Rotary International District Governor our first Polio Points donation of this academic year. Thanks to Bromsgrove students, from Pre-Nursery to Year 13, we donated a massive THB102,138 to Rotary’s Polio Plus campaign – which will now be doubled by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation! More recently, we were fortunate to host, last week, a visit by a delegation of over 50 Korean educators, who were eager to learn what makes Bromsgrove’s pastoral care so impressive. I felt very lucky to be able to share with them the many ways in which the Korean education system could learn from what we do here at Bromsgrove, in our efforts to maximise the wellbeing of every single student.

ผมขอแบ่งปันสองเหตุการณ์สำคัญที่เกิดขึ้นหลังจากจดหมายครั้งก่อน ประการแรกคือ ทางโรงเรียนรู้สึกยินดีและเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้มอบเงินบริจากโปลิโอพอยต์ประจำภาคเรียนที่ 1 จำนวน 102,138 บาทให้แก่นายกสโมสรโรตารี่นานาชาติ ขอบคุณนักเรียนบรอมส์โกรฟทุกคน ตั้งแต่ระดับอนุบาลถึงชั้นปีที่ 13 ที่ร่วมกับบริจากในโครงการโปลิโอพอยต์เพื่อสโมสรโรตารี่ ซึ่งเงินจำนวนดังกล่าวจะเพิ่มเป็นสองเท่าโดยมูลนิธิบิลและเมลินดา เกตส์! ประการที่สองคือ เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ทางโรงเรียนมีโอกาสเป็นเจ้าภาพต้อนรับคณะตัวแทนด้านการศึกษาจากประเทศเกาหลีจำนวนกว่า 50 ท่าน ซึ่งมีความกระตือรือร้นที่จะศึกษาการบริหารที่ประสบผลสำเร็จของฝ่ายปกครองโรงเรียนของเรา ผมรู้สึกโชคดีที่ได้มีโอกาสแบ่งปันวิธีการบริหารงานต่างๆ ซึ่งระบบการศึกษาของเกาหลีสามารถเรียนรู้วิธีการในการเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิต ของนักเรียนทุกคนของเรา
